Hi welcome to world wide etapes. World wide etapes was developed in response to those cycling enthusiasts keen to undertake the classic cyclo sportives.
Cyclo Sportives take place across the globe, vary in length and give the weekend warrior, the enthusiastic amateur and the category racer an opportunity to experience some of what the professionals experience.
Cyclo Sportives are mass-participation, semi competitive cycling events over challenging terrain. The best known is the Etape du Tour which gives you the chance to test yourself on the actual route of one of the mountain stages of the Tour de France.
The pages in this site highlight the major etapes around the globe. Taking you through the history, what it’s like to experience them and how you can enter them.
We have pages dedicated to training tips, nutritional information and an area for you to update your comments and share your experiences of training for them and completing them.
